The Design Connection Tours, held on September 6 and 7, will mutually benefit designers and integrators alike as the tours serve the purpose of creating a professional dialogue about the intelligently built connected environment. The tours will be led and curated by two technology integrators and will lead 10-15 certified designers around select exhibitor booths. The Design Connection Tour will begin at CEDIA booth #1527.

Bob Borson, AIA is a principal of Malone Maxwell Borson Architects. a full service architectural firm based in Dallas, Texas. As an active member in the Dallas AIA Chapter he is acting Director of Communications and serves as the chairman of the New Media and Digital Communications committees in the Texas Society of Architects. Bob is also widely recognized as the blogger behind Life of an Architect—one of the world’s most popular architectural blogs.
In her role as Project Design Specialist for Monogram Appliances, Christina Reed creates display and showroom designs that convey a distinct level of luxury and sophistication consistent with the Monogram Brand. Her continuous mission to learn more about the industry and sharing that knowledge with others is a major contributor to her career success. Christina was also a 2017 NKBA Thirty under 30 alumna.
Dean Larkin, AIA, is architect and principal at Dean Larkin Design. His award-winning, full service residential, commercial, hospitality and landscape designs and completed projects span the globe. Dean is an active member of USCs Architectural Guild; aside from this he is a frequent speaker and writer on many architectural issues.
Jamie Gold is a San Diego-based Certified Kitchen Designer, Certified Aging in Place Specialist, journalist, speaker, industry consultant and author. Since becoming a designer in 2004, after a three-decade career in media and marketing, she has completed hundreds of kitchens and baths for new construction and remodeling projects.
Jeanne K Chung is a Southern California-based luxury interior designer, known for her eclectic design aesthetic that bridges classic design principles with a modern twist. She found her design blog, Cozy Stylish Chic, in 2013 and has become recognized as an influencer in the industry. Jeanne has worked with the High Point Market Authority as a Style Spotter since 2014 and regularly speaks on designer panels.
Joel Fraley, CKD, CAPS, is the principal designer of Fraley + Company, a client focused design firm based in Portland, OR that specializes in personal, creative, and universal design solutions. Along with over 25 years of experience in all phases of design and construction, he is a skilled carpenter/furniture maker. Joel has served on the board of the Rocky Mountain chapter of the US Green Building Council & the Portland Metro Home Builder’s Assn. Building Green Council.
Kelly Finley is the owner and principal designer of Joy Street Design, an Oakland-based, full-service residential interior design firm. In addition to her interior design and interior architecture studies at the University of California, Berkley, Kelly also holds a law degree from Stanford Law School and a business degree from Emory University. Kelly’s educational and professional background, combined with her extensive world travels, helps Joy Street Design create original and distinctive interior spaces.
Kelly Morisseau is a writer and certified master kitchen and bath residential interior designer for a California award-winning design build firm. Author of Kelly’s Kitchen Sync and Kelly’s Kitchen Savvy, she has also written for magazines from Journal of Light Construction to Traditional Home. When she’s not designing creative new spaces or traveling to conventions, you can find her exploring the world.
Michele Youell, certified registered interior designer in Nevada and principle designer at Natural Domain Interiors, a design studio that has created both commercial and residential interiors locally and nationally for 18 years. Michele and her team are known for functionally creative spaces that exude warmth and comfort in a sophisticated yet understated way. Exploring new materials and techniques, combined with an MBA, enables her to innovate in both an aesthetic and results-driven manner.
Molly Switzer is the principle designer at Molly N. Switzer Designs LLC, a design firm that specializes in kitchen and bath design, targeting the Pearl District urban neighborhood in Portland, Oregon. Along with her early involvement as a student with the NKBA and volunteering with the NKBA Columbia River Chapter, Molly has served as several chairs and co-chairs, and in January of 2018 was honored to take on the presidency. Molly was also part of the class of 2014 NKBA’s 30 under 30 award recipients.
Robin R. Fisher is a Certified Master Kitchen and Bath Designer (CMKBD) and Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS). She is a speaker and educator with the National Kitchen and Bath Association, and her award-winning designs have been featured in multiple local, national trade and consumer magazines. In Robin’s 30 plus years in the industry, she has been a founding partner of both a Portland design/build remodeling firm and an independent residential design firm.
Toni Sabatino is an award winning interior designer, cabinetry specialist, furniture designer and spatial planner serving the renovation and new construction market throughout the New York Metropolitan Area, Palm Beach, Las Angeles, Las Vegas, Orlando, Vermont and other resort locations. Toni currently serves as the NKBA Manhattan Chapter President, is a member of the Kitchen and Bath Business Editorial Advisory Board and is the designer of the Retro Collection of bath furniture for Baden Haus.
